Stock Price, % & price change when stock market is OPEN
This number stands for the price of the stock, and the price it was at the time the stock market closed (4PM). This number DOES NOT change overnight, and changes only when the stock market is open (9:30 AM-4PM) and any overnight changes are reflected in the after hours section.
The number besides the stock price represents how much the price of the stock changed and represents price change.
The percent besides the price change represents the price change of the stock in %.
Stock Price, % & price change when stock market is CLOSED
This number stands for the price of the stock, and its price change/fluctuation overnight after 4PM when the stock market is closed. This number CAN and usually DOES change overnight. This number only changes from when the stock market closes. (4:00:01 PM-9:29:59 AM)
The number besides the stock price represents how much the price of the stock changed and represents price change
The percent besides the price change represents the price change of the stock in %.
Previous Close: Price of stock on previous day at 4PM.
Open: Price of stock when stock market opened on current day at 9:30 AM.
Bid: Highest price/offer someone is willing to make
Ask: Lowest/Minimum Price the seller is willing to sell there shares for
Day's Range: Shows the day's price fluctuation of a stock price
52 Week Range: shows price of the lowest & highest price of a stock traded in the last year
Volume: Shows the number of shares traded during a trading day
Avg. Volume: Shows the average number of shares traded during a specific period (Yahoo Finance shows the average of 30 days)
Market Cap (intraday): current value of the company
Beta (5Y Monthly): Shows the stocks volatility using 5 years of historical data of the company
If number is greater than 1 stock is more volatile can be more risky but have good potential for large profits
PE Ratio (TTM): Price to Earnings Ratio, companies current share price to its earnings per share
EPS (TTM): Earnings Per Share, measures a companies profitability and shows investors how much profit the company generated per every share they own
Earnings Date: Specific date when company reported/or will report there earnings/performance for quarters/fiscal years
Forward Dividend & Yield: Estimated amount of dividends a company will pay to its shareholders per share for the next year
Ex-Dividend Date: Cut off date for investors who are looking to earn dividends
1y Target Est: Price target/expectation of stock price set my an analyst that is expected to be reached within a year
